While around one billion Muslims are celebrating Eid al-Fitr today, around 14 million Jews are celebrating their new year- Rosh Hashanah.
Simple reminder: It is not only our Eids that coincide, it’s our past, present, and future. We come from the same source and created by the same God, to whom we will return. When we stand before God, what excuses will we have for killing each other, for turning one of the holiest spots into a battle land, where blood of innocents are shed, children are orphaned and hatred is carved into their hearts?
May God touch our hearts this year with some humanity!

I wish as a palestinian MUSLIM woman who has this great believe in monotheism , to believe there is only one GOD and believe -strongly- that Judaism and Christianity share the same meaning too, same feeling to live in PEACE and HARMONY. Eid Mubarak and Happy Rosh Hashana to you all.........................September 22nd, 2009 @ 5:24 pm
